The Automotive Technology program is a 20 month program that meets M-F from 8am to 2:30pm. We currently have an estimated waiting list of 12 months to enter the program after you complete the enrollments steps.

The Automotive Technology program at the Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville provides instruction in current methods of service and repair of automobiles. Students are taught the use of manuals and how to utilize available resources to assist in diagnosis and correction of auto problems. They are instructed in the proper use of equipment and tools. Throughout the course, students are prepared to take the ASE Certifying examination, which is offered twice per year in the Knoxville area.

The Automotive Technology program is approved by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
