Other Organizations That May Have Training Funds Available
- If you are an eligible veteran or the dependent of an eligible veteran, contact the regional Veterans Administration office that has records for you or your eligible parent. Educational benefits are usually paid directly to the recipient on a monthly basis. - Vocational Rehabilitation: If you have a disability you may be able to receive funds to cover all or a portion of your educational expenses. Contact your local Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor at 865-594-2741. Students who are members of an Indian tribe may be eligible for assistance from the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). BIA benefits may vary depending upon the tribe. You should contact your tribal headquarters to determine your eligibility for BIA benefits.
- Tennessee Opportunity Programs, Inc.: The mission of Tennessee Opportunity Programs is to empower migrant and seasonal farm workers and other disadvantaged Tennesseans to achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing services that address their individual needs.
